Anchor QEA, an environmental science and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a full-time JUNIOR-LEVEL ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST/DATABASE ANALYST in its Seattle, WA offices.

The Junior-level Environmental Scientist/Database Analyst will be a member of our Data Management Team performing environmental data management.  Tasks will include: pre-processing of electronic data deliverables (EDDS) for loading into database; ensuring data is properly loaded into database; assisting in quality control/quality assurance of database input and query products; coordinating with several project managers to handle data management and data analysis tasks for concurrent projects; interacting with staff chemists and sub contracted laboratories to resolve data issues.

The qualified candidate will have 1 to 4 years experience in management of environmental information using database tools.  A Bachelors degree in biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, or any related field is required.  Being detail oriented and experience with relational database systems is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL, Microsoft Access and/or EQuIS is a plus.  Strong organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills are required.  Knowledge of water and sediment quality assessment concepts is preferred.
