What’s the Opportunity?

Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time water resources engineer in one of our Washington State, or Portland, Oregon offices.

The engineer will have 5+ years of experience in water resources planning and engineering related to water supply, water rights, and water resources management projects. An M.S. degree in civil or hydraulic engineering is preferred. This position will be based out of our Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham or Wenatchee, Washington offices.

A Washington State Professional Engineering license, or ability to secure one within 3 to 4 months of employment is required. Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must, as well as a teamwork focus.

Responsibilities:

  • Field studies
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis/modeling
  • Water resource planning
  • Water rights
  • Report preparation
  • Client interaction
  • Design of water resource projects
  • Construction document preparation
  • Occasional construction oversight

 

What Are We Looking For?

Ideal candidates will have the following:

  • M.S. degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience in water resources planning and engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional consulting services experience is desired.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment
