Anchor QEA provides an array of fisheries expertise including fish passage evaluations, regulatory compliance, hydraulic modeling, habitat restoration, hatchery mitigation, and data solutions. Our fisheries scientists are recognized experts and have designed and implemented fisheries studies and models to support the permitting process for large, complex infrastructure projects, as well as fish passage, off-channel reconnection, and shoreline restoration projects. We also have experience using habitat-based population models, such as Physical Habitat Simulation (PHABSIM) and River 2D, and developing site-specific models, such as bioenergetic models to assess fish population health and response to environmental stressors, submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) models to inform restoration strategies, and statistical models for measurement of success criteria for restoration projects.
