Site Investigation

Informed and efficient site investigations are a hallmark of Anchor QEA’s portfolio of services. Our scientists are adept at collecting data needed to develop conceptual site models that can be used to evaluate contaminant behavior and potential exposure pathways for humans and ecological receptors. When warranted, cutting-edge data collection techniques (e.g., passive sampling) and laboratory studies can be especially useful for understanding contaminant bioavailability.

Anchor QEA scientists have characterized the fate, transport, and risk of contaminants at a wide range of aquatic sites and hydrogeologic settings; helped clients manage their regulatory obligations and affect cleanup at their sites; and, in many cases, achieved site closure through risk-based strategies.
