Anchor QEA Guest Stars on Engineering with Nature® Podcast

May 7, 2024 – Anchor QEA

The Engineering With Nature® (EWN) Podcast kicked off in July 2020 to serve a growing international community of scientists, engineers, and researchers by sharing stories about sustainable solutions created through the power of nature. Four years and seven seasons later, the podcast has amassed over 50,000 downloads and is more popular than ever.

Anchor QEA Project Manager, Zelini Hubbard, joined host and coproducer, Sarah Thorne; cohost, Burton Suedel; producer, Dave Trafford; and EWN National Lead, Jeff King, to discuss the launch of the Engineering With Nature: An Atlas, Volume 3—the upcoming edition of EWN’s illustrated publication detailing constructed projects across the globe.

The EWN Atlas, Volume 3 is set to release later this month and will feature:

  • 58 total projects
  • 40 partner organizations
  • 15 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects
  • 39 projects in the U.S.
  • 19 international projects
  • 4 continents

“All 58 projects really do provide interesting examples of how nature-based solutions are being applied to a broad range of challenges,” says Zelini. “I think it’s a real feat that the work of so many has been distilled down into a digestible and readable document. I think your listeners will find that Atlas 3 is a tremendous resource, and I hope they enjoy it.”
