Ferry Terminal Feasibility Study

Anchor QEA provided coastal engineering and dredging support services for a feasibility study to evaluate the potential for a new passenger ferry terminal.

We evaluated operational and extreme wave heights and sedimentation rates and provided a preliminary design of navigation channel and breakwater alignments for the proposed facility. We also completed a wind-wave hindcast to develop design wave heights/periods in a straight and developed a two-dimensional wave model using the STWAVE model. We also provided recommendations on dredging maintenance schedules and estimated costs.
