Remedial Action Plan Development

Anchor QEA assisted with development of a comprehensive remedial action plan to address river sediments containing PCBs.

We developed and evaluated remedial alternatives, including monitored natural recovery, activated carbon addition, capping, and dredging. We also developed mathematical models and assisted in the design and implementation of several sediment remediation pilot studies. We led a multi-disciplinary team through the design and construction of a pilot study and served as the construction manager during field implementation.  We then developed the remedial design and habitat restoration plans as engineer of record for the comprehensive remedy and assisted the client with procuring a remedial construction contractor.
